The Nuggets had a tough time stopping James Harden throughout the game. While Jokić carried the team offensively, he eventually got support from his teammates. Russell Westbrook missed a chance to win it in regular time, and in the extra five minutes, the Nuggets stepped up to secure the win and take the lead in the playoff series.
Jokić played for 46 minutes and came very close to a triple-double, ending the game with 29 points and 12 assists, just one rebound short. Aaron Gordon scored 25 points and grabbed eight rebounds, and Jamal Murray added 21 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists. Westbrook scored 15 points and collected eight rebounds, with nine of those points coming in the fourth quarter.
For the Clippers, James Harden led the way with 32 points and 11 assists. Kawhi Leonard added 22 points, and Ivica Zubac had a strong game with 21 points and 13 rebounds. Bogdan Bogdanović had a quiet night, finishing with five rebounds, two assists, and no points.
