Batting first, RCB put on a big show. Their superstar Virat Kohli was at his best, scoring 70 runs off 42 balls, smashing 8 fours and 2 sixes. He was well supported by Devdutt Padikkal, who made a quick 50 off 27 balls, including 3 sixes.

Together, they added a massive 95 runs in just 51 balls for the second wicket, helping RCB post a strong total of 205/5 in 20 overs.

Earlier, Kohli and Phil Salt gave a solid start with a 61-run partnership, but Salt went back after scoring 26 runs, caught off Wanindu Hasaranga.

Even after Padikkal got out in the 17th over, RCB kept pushing. Tim David (23 off 15) and Jitesh Sharma (20 off 10)* finished the innings strongly, pushing the total past the 200 mark.

In reply, the Rajasthan Royals started with a bang. Yashasvi Jaiswal was on fire, scoring 49 off just 19 balls with 3 sixes and 7 fours. He and 14-year-old debutant Vaibhav Suryavanshi added 52 runs in just 26 balls for the first wicket.

Suryavanshi made an exciting 16 off 12, including 2 sixes before getting out.

Even though Nitish Rana (28) and Riyan Parag (22) played quick cameos, Rajasthan kept losing wickets at the wrong time. Krunal Pandya stepped in with crucial wickets and slowed down the chase.

Rajasthan Royals came out swinging in their IPL match against Bengaluru, putting up a strong start with the bat. Their top order played with confidence and power, giving fans hope for a big win.

However, the momentum didn’t last. Bengaluru’s bowlers bounced back, led by a fiery spell from Josh Hazlewood and tight overs from the spinners. The pressure kept building, and Rajasthan’s middle order couldn’t keep up.

Jurel Fights Hard, But RCB Holds Strong

Dhruv Jurel tried his best with a fighting 47 off 34 balls, hitting 3 sixes and 3 fours, but he didn’t get enough support from the other batters.

Josh Hazlewood was the hero with the ball, taking 4 wickets for 33 runs, including the key wicket of Shimron Hetmyer in the final overs.

Rajasthan ended at 194/9, falling short by 11 runs and facing their fifth straight loss, matching their worst losing streak in IPL history (2009-10).
