Perth Wildcats forward Izan Almansa has officially entered the 2025 NBA Draft, his agent Guillermo Bermejo told ESPN’s Jonathan Givony.

The 19-year-old from Spain has impressed in national teams at all age levels, including the senior team. He was named MVP at the FIBA U17 World Cup in 2022 and the U19 World Cup in 2023, and also won top honors at the 2023 FIBA U18 European Championship.

Before moving to Australia, Almansa trained with Real Madrid’s youth team, played in the U.S. with Overtime Elite, and then joined the G League Ignite.

He joined the 2024 NBA Draft Combine but later withdrew to continue improving his skills with the Perth Wildcats. Now, he’s entering the 2025 NBA Draft with more experience.

In the 2024–25 NBL season, he averaged 6.8 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 0.7 assists per game, with a 51% shooting rate.

Other young European players like Egor Demin, Bogoljub Marković, Noah Penda, and Kasparas Jakucionis have also declared for the 2025 draft.
